PROMA 33 Advantage
9 Reasons to choose
the Proma 33
1.
Seating
The Proma 33 offers thirty-three,
ADR 68, fixed full width, luxury seats as standard, which is 9 to 13
more passenger seats than others in this class, with a 2-plus-2 configuration
your passengers can sit with their friends, comfortably.
Compare this to similar class vehicles where the double seats are on
one side and the ride is lopsided.
Passengers sit on the same level, with the last row sitting higher,
not lower, for better viewing.
The Proma 33 has 51 – 94mm more seat pitch for extra leg room
and additional comfort.
2.
Safety
The Proma 33 is packed full
of safety features as standard, including:
ABS
Disc Brakes on all wheels (heavy duty air system)
Multi stage hydraulic retarder
Galvanized Australian steel, ADR 59 rollover frame
ADR 68 lap sash safety belt seat for all passengers
Air suspended ADR lap sash belted seat for the driver, ergonomically
designed for greater comfort and reduced fatigue
4-link air suspension with front and rear anti roll bars for improved
stability
Forward entry, with no passengers getting in the way of the driver's
view
Large, well positioned mirrors for better driver vision
Even weight distribution, with 2 + 2 seating improving stability
3.
Heavy Duty
The Proma 33 has a GVM of
11.8 tons but drives like a car, with added features.
No chance of overloading, with a load carrying capacity of more
than 4,000Kg
-Brand X will exceed the rated GVM if the average passenger is heavier
than 75Kg & 14.4 meter Kerb to Kerb turning circle
-Brand Y will exceed the rated GVM if the average passenger is heavier
than 71Kg & 14.4 meter Kerb to Kerb turning circle
-Proma 33 has enough rated GVM to allow an average passenger weight
of 118Kg & 15.4 meter Kerb to Kerb turning circle
LED exterior lighting
Larger capacity and heavier duty cycle running components
4.
Air Suspension
Only the Proma 33 provides
the absolute comfort and stability of full air suspension, with 2-high,
wide bags at the front and 4 bags at the rear, coupled with anti roll
bars front and rear.
5.
Rear Engine
The Proma 33 uses a Cummins
ISB 185 Euro 4, heavy-duty, 4.5L rear-mounted engine, for greater driver
and passenger comfort. More torque: a massive 700Nm from a low 1200
rpm gives better performance and cruising.
6.
Transmission
The Proma 33 features heavy
duty Allison automatic 6-speed transmission with integrated hydraulic
retarder for better braking performance and longer brake life.
7.
Cost / Value
The Proma 33 blitzes the opposition
on value for money. Based on the RRP of the following similarly specified,
deluxe models, with auto, a/c and seat-belt seats:
Brand X -- 20-passenger = $5,780 per passenger
Brand Y -- 24-passenger = $5,575 per passenger
Proma 33 -- 33-passenger = $4,015 per passenger
8.
Long Life
The Proma 33 is built from
Australian high-tensile galvanized steel, like a traditional heavy-duty
coach, and combined with heavy-duty running components; you can be assured
your investment will outlast the opposition.
9.
Comfort and Convenience
Remote controlled keyless entry
Luggage space: only the Proma 33 gives you almost 1 cu. mtr. under-floor
luggage space as standard, reducing the need to tow a trailer
Cruise Control
Power steering
Radio/CD with PA system
Air Conditioning with individual air outlets for each passenger
When it comes to carrying
your valued passengers, the Proma 33 wins on all the important things
that matter, such as greater safety, more seating and smoother more
stable ride.
